After you sponsor

News arrives when life produces it, not when a calendar asks for it.

From the moment you sponsor, a private channel opens between your home and your student's school. Their photos, their letters, their report cards and the stories their teacher wants to tell you will appear there. We cannot promise you an exact date. We can promise that nothing that matters will go untold.

How it works

01
Right away

Your panel opens

The moment you confirm, your private panel is yours. Everything lives there: your student's profile, your contributions, your details, and your conversations with our team. It is your way in — and it is already waiting with the first photo and the child's full record.

02
Weeks

The school gathers the material

On the ground, the school collects what tells the story of the child's year — photos, report cards, handwritten letters — along with the record of how resources were spent. All of it travels to the foundation's offices, and weather, roads and signal all have a say in how long that takes.

03
As soon as it lands

We publish it and let you know

Once the material reaches us, we review it, sort it, and upload it to your panel. We email you the same day so you know something new is waiting. It stays there for good.

What you will receive

It depends on what the teacher manages to gather that term. This is what usually arrives:

Photographs

Portraits and scenes from their day: the classroom, break time, lunch, the end-of-year ceremonies.

Drawings and schoolwork

What they make in class: drawings, exercise books, crafts. Often it is the first thing a child wants to send.

Letters, when there are letters

Some children write; others are still too young. When there is a letter, you get it photographed exactly as it is, in their own hand and language. We do not translate it.

How they are doing, in general

What the teacher is able to tell us: how school is going, how their health is, how they seem this year. No long forms — the words of the person who sees them every day.

What we will not do

We will not invent an update to fill a month. We will not send you a template with your student’s name pasted on top. If a term was quiet and there is not much to tell, we will say so. We would rather you receive four true pieces of news a year than twelve invented ones.

And separately, the accounts

News about your student is one thing. What we do with the money is another, and it lives on its own page: expense reports, completed works, audits. They are published as we close each stage.
